DRCV1L Full-Queen Drop Rail Bed Frame Converter
Why would I need a DRCV1L Full-Queen Bed Frame Converter Rail System?
If you currently have bedroom furniture that matches and you simply want to upgrade or increase the mattress from a 54 inch wide full size to a more comfortable 60 inch spacious queen, you no longer have a need to buy a new more expensive queen size bed or a whole new bedroom group. This unique frame even solves the problem for mattresses that are thick and sit too tall. By simply purchasing Glideaway’s DRCV1L Full-Queen conversion frame you not only make your full size bed into a queen but you are able to lower the mattress by 3 1/2 inches. While many queen headboards and footboards sold today already offer the versatility of fitting to both queen and full size bed frames and mattresses, older styles didn’t offer this luxury. Now old full beds can adatpt to new modern queen size mattresses.
Measurements and fit of the DRCV1L Full-Queen Bed Frame Converter
When the hook in side rails are attached, they are just short of 82 inches in length. Once the side rails are installed the system provides nearly an extra inch at each end of an 80 inch long queen size mattress. Buyers love that it is still easy to make and pillows won’t slide between the mattress and headboard.
Heavy duty hook-in angle iron rail system converts full size headboard & footboard to accommodate Queen size mattress & boxspring. The 2 center legs has an adjustable foot that eliminates boxspring sag, which is attached to the steel center cross support. The center support helps distribute the weight of the bedding; proper weight distribution prevents bed legs from cracking and splitting.
NOTE: This will NOT work with a queen split boxspring
