I’ve been eyeing STL Beds for some time, mainly through the web, since I couldn’t find any stores that carry STL Beds’ line-up in my area. Having said that, I decided to purchase the Forever Foundations’ Heavy Duty Steel Bed Foundation and the Therapedic Medicoil 3500 reversible mattress after extensive research and through various web readings. I’ve purchased some crappy Ikea mattress not too long ago which led me into all this. After a brief dilemma, I thought this may be the solution that may fix my years of uncomfortable sleep to come.
Day 1: The support on this Heavy Duty Steel Bed Foundation is impeccable as it gave life to my saggy Ikea Hanestad mattress. I feel like my mattress is pretty decent when paired with this heavy-duty steel bed foundation since I haven’t slept like this in a while. This whole time I thought inferior mattresses being the core problem to my poor sleep but I couldn’t be more wrong. If you have a mediocre wooden slat platform bed paired with a mattress that you think is just average and saggy, I can say from my experience that this just might be your best or only alternative solution to having a good night sleep. The heavy-duty steel bed foundation has impeccable lower back support when compared to any platform bed that I’ve had in my life. The quality is top-notch and durability speaks for itself. This is one of the best investments that I had in real long time. This gave life to my Ikea mattress. I am already so excited how much more my sleep will improve when I receive my Medical 3500 mattress sometime next week. My first impression when I laid down on my Ikea mattress on top of this steel foundation was that I can feel firm lower back support, especially in regions 4 and 5. For someone who is 5″9 (210 lbs.), a little on the belly heavy side, I can now sleep comfortably on any sleeping position especially on my back. I can’t wait to pair this up with my new mattress to come.
