GS-3 XS Center Support For Wood Side Rail Beds is our best-selling center support system and is built by Glideaway. These Cross Rails & Adjustable Legs Center Support System fits the following sizes:

The ground-breaking design of the GS-3 XS Center Support system makes it very strong and is designed to retrofit and strengthen existing wood beds that include wooden side rails. The additional bracing is easy to install.

 

The 3 cross support bars and 3 legs included adjusting from bed heights as low as 6½ inches, up to 15½ inches tall. This measurement is taken from the bottom of the box spring to the floor. (Headboard and footboard not included and are shown for illustration purposes to demo how the 3 center support connects). This product typically ships within 1-2 Business days.

The GS-3 XS Center Support has extra solid support from legs that are adjustable allowing for a variety of bed heights and configurations making it versatile enough to accommodate almost any bed and size including Full /Double, Queen, King / Eastern King, and California King beds with headboards, footboards, and side rails.

Fits beds from 6½ inches, up to 15½ inches tall. Measurement is taken from a wood lip located inside of wooden side rails.

Designed For Beds With Wooden Side Rails

Glideaway’s GS-3 XS Adjustable Center Support System is built to work on wood side rails to help ensure your rails will not bend, crack, or break. Glideaway’s middle slats cross from side to side and include pre-drilled holes on each of the ends. The steel slats rest on the wooden lip and rest on your bedside rails.

 

Simply secure them with the included screws to ensure the GS-3 XS system will not move out of position. This added support will guard against the bowing, bending, and breaking of your wood bedside rails when installed properly.

3 Cross Rails & 3 Adjustable Legs Center Support System Fit Criteria

 

  1. Is your bed a (King, California King, Queen, or Full) size?
  2. Does your bed have a Headboard, Footboard, & Wood Side Rails? Includes wood screws. These thread into wooden lip inside wood side rails.
  3. Is there a wooden lip located on the inside of the wooden side rails? (This is where traditionally wooden slats will rest).
  4. What is the Measurement from top of the wood lip, down to the floor? Cannot be less than (6 ½) inches or more than (15 1/2″)
  5. For beds with headboard, footboard & Steel Side Rails you will need to purchase six ¼ inch diameter x 1/2 long bolts with nuts OR let us know if you need some.
  6. Steel side rails? REQUIRES THE TOOLS TO DRILL THROUGH High Carbon STEEL RAILS. Existing holes will NOT line up with the holes of this support system.
  7. You must have both a mattress along with one of the following:
    1. Boxspring
    2. Foundation
    3. Bunkie board
    4. A Platform does not work with wood slats.
